Raccoons

You wouldn't be able to tell by looking at me, but I'm 1/32 Irish. So my foot will be celebrating St. Patrick's Day this month. And I will be thrilled a few days later at the official first day of spring.

For now, I'm trying to sleep better at night after two months of raccoon mating. Yes, we have creatures in our back yard. Giant creatures...just as big as those in the picture. They look so tiny on the screen, but in real life they are easily twice the size of a fat cat or comparable to a decent sized dog. They have been growling and squeaking at each other anywhere from 7 at night to 4 in the morning.

It's a good thing we don't have pets.
