I was thinking I liked this guy when he was on Ugly Betty, but they kept the nerd in his thick glasses. Now he's on Covert Affairs playing a geek. It's sweet that he's a family man with 3 children. His wife is beautiful and a childhood sweetheart - lucky guy.

Also Eli Wallace (Stargate Universe) and Logan Griffen (Moonlight), I've known the actor best as the lovable, nerdy, and unfortunately gay, Cliff St. Paul of Ugly Betty. While I love buff bodies and dimples...the cute bear types hover over my heart.

The actor is not gay, which is a relief, and he's no longer on Ugly Betty, which is a bummer.

Dr. Jack Hodgins, better known as one of the squints on Bones, is your scientific nerd. Hodgins, as he is called on the show, is an entymologist and gets his kicks out of dirt, molds, and numerous bugs. The delight on his face gives one the creepy crawlies. He also reminds me of the The Lone Gunman from X-Files with his attention to conspiracy theories.

It was the beginning of the third season, when he and coworker Angela Montenegro got together, that I began to see the actor as being in any way attractive. Compare the scruffy looking guy in the first picture with the smooth character in the second picture. Although I think T.J. Thyne may be growing his hair out again, I will never look at the guy the same way I did. Those eyes are gorgeous.

Those conspiracy theories may filter over into real life as there is nearly nothing on his personal life and thus a complete lack of fun facts. Check his IMDb though and see all the shows he's been in.

I'm admitting now that even though the big, hunky types make me drool, it's the nerdy/geeky types I tend to fall in love with. Chuck is one of those types. He has this endearing quality about him even with all of his quirks, stuttering, and cross-eyed visions. The shaggy hair, ties, pocket protector, and Converse put him well within the geek category. I love that he is smart, but down to earth and caring.

Levi is another story. I had never heard of him before the show, not realizing that he had been in other parts, like See Jane Run, a movie with Charisma Carpenter. In my quest to add some cute nerdy types to my blog, I did some searching on Levi and found that without the geek-wear he was very, very cute. Then I felt guilty about adding him here thinking he should just plain be in with the hunks.
